A key element of my creative practice is reworking all materials that remain in my grasp. Even if they do not have meaning in themselves, they help meaning take form in ways that I never considered before. Also, the evolution of my intention from capturing an image to when I print, study and present it to the world adds a self-reflecting aspect to my practice. Given the impulsive nature of my process, the ability to revisit old projects allows me to gain a deeper understanding of my ideas and create connections between them and a larger body of work. Photography allows me to maintain a large archive of images that I can later explore by experimenting with scale, sequencing, printing techniques, and strategies such as; collage, installation, books, and screen-printing.
